Blogging

This is a 12-week, part-time internship that operates remotely. The selected candidate/’s will be able to work from home and set their own schedule, but must meet weekly deadlines.

What We're Looking For

01. Journalism - Strong journalism writing skills. Experience writing for newspapers is helpful, but not required.

02. PR/Visual Editor -Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with very little supervision. Experience writing SEO friendly content is helpful, but not required.

03.  Writer/Editor - Strong research and writing skills. Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with very little supervision. Experience writing SEO friendly content is helpful, but not required. Must have great editing skills.

04.  Content Marketing Copywriter - Must be a creative writer with a working knowledge of marketing and a knack for turning mundane topics into fascinating articles. Great researching skills required. Must be able to work independently and meet deadlines with very little supervision.

Communications

Work on researching and drafting press releases; interact with other media; facilitate interviews and background session. Book notes and discussion panels, including on-site set-up, publicity, and scheduling; work on RTW's internship coordination; assist with event planning; and work on all aspects of RTW’s companies.

What We're Looking For

01. The minimum-age requirement for the position is 18, but preferred interns are college juniors or seniors. Interns need to be hard-working, dependable and detail-oriented, and must have good editing and writing skills.

02. Applicants should ideally have an interest in international affairs.

03.  Excellent computer skills are a must. A comfort with web page design and maintenance is required, as is a familiarity with our web software (WordPress), or a willingness to learn to use it.

04.  Strong research skills are preferable for this internship.

Marketer

The intern/’s hired for this position will need strong critical thinking skills in order to integrate into our vibrant and passionate team who are very excited to share this exciting launch with an intern hoping to gain a ton of great online experience.

Web Development

In this position you will work as part of a team to design and implement web service APIs, maintain database systems – SQL and NoSQL, work with Word Press, implement Web Front-Ends, and do a lot of really awesome stuff to support our core business.

What We're Looking For

01. You have an unrelenting willingness to learn, and a good working knowledge of HTML and CSS is required

02. You have a pretty good understanding of how a basic MVC web application works, for example, you’ve made some data driven websites or the like using HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL or similar.

03. You’ve done some network programming (Homework is fine) and understand the OSI layers and have a good understanding of algorithms and data structures

Special Projects

Play a critical role in the planning of Guest Appreciation Days,  support the Special Projects and Operations Manager with logistics and planning for events including donor dinners, conference, and receptions. manage the integrity and input of data. Communicate with in-country team members to support RTW’s donors, investors.
